Make sure you enter it in the meta tags, if possible. Ideally, you should use this keyword in your title, description, and keyword meta tags. Then make sure you use it several times in the content on the page. One caution using this technique; don’t just throw the keyword in there haphazardly. You have to make sure that it fits in with your content and is relevant.

There is an easy technique I use to make sure all of my keywords are relevant. When developing an AdWords campaign, I click on the option to allow Google to select keywords based on the site I am targeting. After entering the URL, Google will bring up a list of relevant keywords for that site. If you stick with keywords from this list, you will never have to worry about getting slapped and being charged 5 or 10 bucks for a single keyword.

First of all, make sure that the sites you are submitting to are getting traffic. New directories spring up everyday and these new sites get very little traffic at first. By submitting to sites that get plenty of traffic, you can be assured that people will see your articles and click on your links.

It is also important to check the Google Page Rank of the sites you submit to. Submit only to those sites that have a higher Page Rank than your own web site. This ensures that the links you get will benefit you. You get very little benefit by submitting to sites with very low PR.

If you are just introducing a new web site, you should submit articles to as many directories as possible. Each article should contain a link back to your site. The search engines see the large number of links pointing to your site and reward it accordingly.

In order to maximize the number of links that you get with your article marketing campaign, submit your articles to at least 150 sites. This is most easily done using some sort of article submission software. Getting your article out to 150 directories manually could take you 6 to 8 hours. Viral List Building Tactics

A good list is the cornerstone of a solid profitable online business. It is not the only method of building a business, but it is one of the easiest tactics to build a business that grows every month without requiring you to work harder or put in extra hours. To leverage my list building efforts, I use viral list building tactics. I do this by offering several free viral reports that my subscribers can give away. They can offer them as a bribe to get people to sign up for their list, they can give them away as a bonus along with products that they are selling, or they can give them away as a free gift. Basically, they can do whatever they want with these free reports.

But the key to a successful viral list building campaign is the information inside. To be effective, your report has to include good solid information that people perceive as being valuable. The more valuable your report, the better it will work for you. So, when putting together one of these reports, provide some real value in it.

The second key to a successful offering is the viral component. Your free report should include, depending on the length, between three and five links to your sign in page. The most effective links are disguised as articles (or small chapters) in your report. Try to work in your link so that it doesn’t look like a blatant advertisement. My best viral results come from links that look natural within the chapter.

Do not rely on the gauge that is attached to the air hose where you get air. They are frequently inaccurate.

4. Drive slower! The number one reason why people get low mileage is driving too fast. When it comes to gas mileage; speed kills! Traveling at 75 miles per hour as opposed to 55 mph can slash your gasoline mileage by a whopping 25%.

5. Keep your car well maintained mechanically. Old worn out spark plugs rob your car’s gas mileage and power. In a six-cylinder car the presence of just has one fouled spark plug wastes 17% of the gas you buy.

6. The number one tactic to reduce your gasoline costs is convert your car to run on water! That’s right, there are conversion manuals that show you how you can adapt any vehicle to run on water. This process alone can improve your gas mileage (and reduce your fuel costs) by as much as 60%!

Have you seen them on the Internet? With gasoline prices soaring sky high, it seem that the systems that show you how to drive using water are being promoted everywhere. New programs are popping up almost every day.

Well, I finally succumbed to the hype and bought one of those systems. How do they work? Hydrogen gas is a powerful energy source, but do you know that Hydrogen can be extracted from water (made up of hydrogen and oxygen) to and used as a supplemental fuel source to run your car? The conversion manuals selling on the Internet shows you how to build a conversion system to convert water into an energy source and use it as fuel for your car.

It is not yet possible to run a car completely on water; some amount of gasoline is still required. Also, water is not the component that is burned for energy. A conversion system is needed to extract hydrogen from water and the Hydrogen gas, called hho, is burned to produce power.

To drive your car using water, you must first convert water into hydrogen gas (hho). The online manuals show you how to build a system that makes this conversion. Most of the manuals provide diagrams and step-by-step instructions.

7. Develop partnerships with blogs in the same and related niches. Comment frequently on other blogs and leave a link to your own blog in your signature. Set up strategic partnerships with other blogs and use small ads in visible locations to refer readers to each other’s site.

How Many Articles You Need To Write For Success

Subscribers frequently ask me how many articles they need to write to be successful with article marketing. As you begin your article marketing career, you may only be able to write two or three articles a week. That’s okay, in the beginning, write as many as you can and submit each one to the largest ten to twenty article submission directories. With this kind of production, you will not see a flood of traffic, but you will gain experience and begin to see a few visitors come to your site.

As you continue to write more and more, it will become easier for you. So it’s very important for you to focus on writing those two or three articles a week. Once you become good at it, you can increase this number to four or five a week. Over time you will become very good at writing and you will be able to write and submit an article every day.

And remember, your articles have a cumulative effect. Articles you wrote three months ago are still being read and the links are still being clicked. Once you have written 100 to 200 articles, and assuming that you are still writing one a day, you should see about twenty to thirty visitors a day coming to your site.

Of course, if you are serious about using article marketing as a free source of traffic, you should try to write as many articles as possible. If you write three articles a day, you will triple the amount of traffic coming to your site. Writing five articles a day will give you five times the traffic.

So back to the original question, how many articles do you need to write to be successful with article marketing? Well, the answer to that lies in the amount of traffic you need. To direct buyers to your affiliate products, it is necessary to include a link to the product that you are promoting. These are called affiliate links. Each link includes the name of the product you are recommending as well as you own personal ID for that program.

Affiliate links are a necessary component in the Internet marketing business. But we sometimes find that unscrupulous people steal them. There are shady people out there who will look at your affiliate link and consummate the sale after replacing your affiliate ID with their own. It is a fact of doing business on the Internet. For that reason, if you want to make serious money in that arena, you should always cloak your affiliate links.

In addition to lost sales, there is another reason to cloak your affiliate links; they look unprofessional and announce that fact that it is an affiliate product. And unfortunately, there are those out there who will not knowingly buy affiliate sponsored products. For those reasons, it is best to cloak your affiliate links.

There a number of techniques that you can use to do this. Following are four tactics that you can use to cloak your links:

1. Use free link cloaking sites. These sites will allow you to enter a URL and they will convert it into a cloaked link. Tinyurl is probably the most well known of these sites but there are many others that do the same thing. You can find these sites by doing a search for ‘free affiliate cloaking.’

2. You can also use software, both free and paid, that will cloak your links. You can find hundreds of software programs by searching for ‘affiliate cloaking software.’

3. An option that most super affiliates use is the purchase of a domain name for one specific affiliate product. Using this tactic, they either develop a specialized landing page or use either domain forwarding or re-directs to link to the affiliate products.

4. As an alternative to purchasing your own domain, you can use a page within your existing site and re-direct traffic from that page. If you are uncertain how to use re-directs, you can see many examples by doing a search for ‘link redirects.’

For some unknown reason, many Internet marketers prefer not to sell Master Resell Rights/Private Label Rights products. I don’t know why. I make several hundred dollars off of my low priced MRR /PLR products each and every month. It is an easy and profitable way to make money online. It didn’t cost me any of my own time to create it. And in most cases, they provided me with a website, so all I had to do was unzip and upload it. The entire process took maybe 5 minutes of my time.

I don’t even spend any of my time or money marketing them. The only place I promote them is in the small ads that I have placed within my web sites. But I must admit that I will occasionally include a link for one of these products in my articles. I suppose it takes me a minute or two to design the link. But I was writing the article anyway so it wasn’t a big deal.

I probably have 8 low priced MRR products listed for sale and I make several hundred each month. That works out to about $40 per product. And that’s every month! If you assume that I spent about ten minutes on each product, it works out to $3600 a year for 80 minutes worth of work. Not a bad return!

That’s why I am surprised that more people who are just starting out don’t use these products. It is a great way to start your online business:

* You can buy the products at very reasonable prices

* You don’t have to spend hours of your time creating a product that may or may not sell

* You don’t have to design a sales page

* You don’t have to put together a delivery page

With all these advantages, it really surprises me that more marketers (particularly newer ones) don’t take advantage of these products. And that’s not all:

* You can sell the product and keep 100% of the profits

* You can set your own price

* You can frequently enter your name as the creator

* You can resell the Master Resell Rights

* You can use them as bonuses to be given away with larger, higher priced items

And when you consider that you can get these products for next to nothing, you almost have to make it a part of your online business. One reason why more marketers don’t sell PLR products is the fact that they want to sell those high ticket items and make a killing. However, they should take into consideration that low priced products convert at a much higher rate than those premium priced ones. We’ve all seen those online shopping sites that ask you to enter your discount codes. I was sure it was some kind of scam to somehow get more money out of me. Probably just some kind of ‘come-on’ to save 10 cents on my next purchase. “Not worth the effort,” I thought.

One day last week I was in the office with my wife as she was making an online purchase and I asked her why she was wasting her time entering the discount code. With that air of superiority that wives sometimes get, she said she was saving us some money.

“Big deal,” I answered, “do that 40 times and we’ll be able to buy an extra gallon of gas!”

She explained that this coupon will save 30% percent off the price of her purchase. As it turned out, the total amount of her order was for $50, and she really did get 30% (or $15) off. The total cost of her $50 order turned out to be $35! I was very pleasantly surprised.

Two good sources to find promotional codes are at currentcodes dot com and retailmenot dot com. You can search for discount coupons by merchant, alphabetically, or by category. The problem is, while my wife is searching for one discount code, she usually finds some other ‘must have’ bargain that she can’t pass up. So, in the long run, it doesn’t save us much money. But if you’re disciplined, you really can save a substantial amount of money!
