First, determine what subject (called niche) you are interested in. This is important because all of the products you sell will be related to this niche. If your site is related to bird watching, few of your visitors will be interested in chain saws. You can use any of these articles for your blog as long as you include the author’s name and resource information. If you go this route, make sure you include that information! Start out with at least 4 or 5 related articles.

Now for the money making part. Locate 5 to 10 affiliate products that are related to your niche. You can find a very good selection of products at ClickBank, PayDotCom, or Commission Junction. These companies allow you to sell the products that they offer and will give you a commission ranging from 30% to 75% on each sale. You do not need any sort of payment button or anything like that on your blog if you use products from these companies.

Place small ads above, below and around the articles that you have on your blog. Make sure each product advertisement is closely related to the information in the article that it is near. This is critical if you want to make money. If your advertisement is for bird feeders, place the ad near an article that discusses where to place bird feeders for maximum bird activity. Do this with all of your articles and advertisements.

Develop An Ebook In 4 Easy Steps

Ebooks are a great way to make money online. All of the big Internet Guru’s sell them. This alone should tell you something. To develop a profitable business, use the same techniques as those who are most successful. Some of these Guru’s make six figure incomes ON A MONTHLY BASIS! So get your piece of that action, develop your own ebook.

Many people think that writing an ebook is too hard. But it doesn’t have to be. If this is your first attempt at writing an ebook, start out small. Begin by writing a short five to ten page ebook. Many people start writing ebooks with great intentions. They plan to work a couple of hours over the weekend and finish by Sunday night. Then, over the next 2 weeks, as sales are skyrocketing, they will be well on their way to fame and fortune and retire to that island in the South Pacific. The problem is, the majority of these people never finish their ebooks. Once they realize that it could take a significant amount of time and effort, they hide it among the digital dust on their hard drive, never to be seen again.

This is an all too common occurrence. But there are steps that you can take that will minimize the likelihood of this happening to you.

First and foremost, write about a topic that you enjoy. That way, the normally tedious process of sitting at your computer, typing away for hours doesn’t seem so much like work. That is not to say that it is fun, but at least it is tolerable.

Write in a style as though you are talking to a close friend. If you are constantly using the dictionary to find the perfect word for this and the perfect word for that, you’ll never finish. Just write it like you would say it.

Start out by creating a detailed outline. This provides you with a road map. At all times you will know where you are in the ebook and where you are going. This also prevents you from rambling. As you can see by the order of the steps in this article, I work without an outline and I tend to ramble sometimes, too.

Set up a schedule for your self and stick to it. When I was writing a novel, I had a goal to write 500 to 1000 words per night, every night. Some nights it took me 30 minutes; some nights it took 4 hours. That type of schedule works well for me. If you are new to writing, you might be better off working a set amount of time. Perhaps an hour or two each night or whatever your schedule allows. The point is, set up a schedule that works for you and stick to it.

Never rush it. If it takes you 3 months to finish your first ebook, so be it. The Internet will still be there waiting regardless of whether it takes you 3 days or 3 years. No one is standing over you with a whip. None of your customers will judge your work based on how quickly you got it done. Focus on creating a high quality product, if it takes a little longer, that’s okay.

Making Money With Ebooks For Beginners

Writing your first ebook can seem like a daunting task. There are many ebook details that fill beginners with self-doubt:

Can I write well enough?
Do I have enough material for an ebook?
Which font?
What size font?
And on and on…

But writing your first ebook need not be so scary. Many people think that their first ebook has to be one of those giant 150 page wonders. Not true. As a beginner, you would be much better off by starting small. You can begin your first project by writing a mini-ebook. A mini-ebook consists of about 5 to 15 pages.

Before those negative thoughts begin to creep in, let me say this: if you can write a 500 word article like this one, you can write a mini-ebook. Start out by determining what information you want to include in your ebook. Develop a detailed outline. Each outline heading will represent one chapter of your ebook. Using your outline, write one article for each chapter heading. Don’t worry; you don’t have to finish it in a day. My first ebook took me three months to write.

After you have finished writing all of the articles, read through them to make sure that the information flows nicely. Assemble the articles together into one document and your mini-ebook is done. You won’t get a premium price for a mini-ebook. But you can easily sell them at a price of 3 to 7 dollars. One benefit to selling mini-ebooks; they normally convert at much higher rates than larger full sized ebooks.

After you have completed a couple of mini’s, you’ll feel much more confident about developing a full size, and hopefully- premium priced, ebook of your own.
