How to Make Extra Money in These Tough Financial Times

Many people need to make some extra money in these tough financial times. Millions of people make money online, and you could too if you only knew how. So how do these enterprising people make money from the Internet in these tough financial times? The truth is, it is a relatively simple process, but it takes some time and a bit of effort. Following are a number of ways to make money online.

One of the easiest ways to make money online in these tough financial times is through EBay. Millions of people are making money by selling goods and services there. Check your attic for stuff you no longer use or need. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

You can also profit by selling products created by others. This is called an affiliate program. You refer people to the affiliate website and every time someone you refer buys a product, you receive a commission. Commissions range from between 30% and 75% of the sales price. And the best part is the fact that you can register for most affiliate programs absolutely free. One of the best affiliate programs to register with is ClickBank. They have over 10,000 affiliate products available that you can sell.

If you have a website or blog, you can include advertising on your site and make money. You can register for an advertising program like this through AdSense. Each time someone clicks on one of the ads, you make money. It is a very easy and hands off way to make money online.

There are thousands of ways to make money online. These are just a few of them. You can get started with some of the techniques described above by registering for a blog. You can do this for free at Blogger and use all of the techniques described above. And an advantage of using a blog is the fact that you don’t have to learn any complicated computer language and you don’t have to have any specialized computer skills. A free blog is the perfect vehicle for a beginner to make money online in these tough financial times.

Make More Money With Proper Targeting

I hear some marketers say that need to make a decision on whether to use Adsense on their site or place affiliate ads. Personally, I don’t understand why they don’t use both. I have used both techniques simultaneously and I have never seen a problem.

On one of my sites, I used Adsense exclusively and did quite well. When I included ads for affiliate programs I was promoting, I saw no measurable decrease in my Adsense revenue. And, I also generated some nice affiliate income. There is no reason NOT to use both programs on your website or blog.

In order to maximize your affiliate ads, you must target the programs you promote to the content on your site. If your site provides information for dog owners, do not make the mistake of thinking that you can make money offering an affiliate program for foreign exchange trading. Your affiliate programs must be closely related to the content on your site. After all, if people come to your site for dog related information, they might be very interested in dog grooming, dog boarding, or dog care products.

Ideally, you should check your search results. Study the search terms that people are using to find your site. Then do a targeted search on ClickBank or Commission Junction to find products that are closely related to those search terms. Display ads for these affiliate programs in a prominent place on your site. Try to place the ads adjacent to your content and above the fold. That is the way to maximize your income.

Keep in mind that different pages on your site may bring in people using different keywords. Do not make the mistake of using the same affiliate product on every page of your site. Each page attracts people for different reasons. Isolate the primary reason that people come to each page of your site and offer products targeted to that page. Using these techniques, you will make money from Adsense as well as affiliate programs.

How To Start Making Money Online Without Using HTML

People all over the world are making money online. Many of them are prospering with just the bare bones equipment. Some people in third world countries don’t even have their own computer and are still making money online. So, how are you doing? All you really need to money on the Internet is some ambition, a good idea, and the willingness to work.

If you’ve been thinking about starting an Internet business, there is no better time than now! The sooner you get started the better off you will be. I’ve spoken to many people who hesitate starting a business because they aren’t familiar with html (the computer language for websites).

If you’ve been using that as an excuse, you can open your online business by using a blog instead. Almost anything that can be done with a website can be accomplished using a blog. You don’t need any knowledge of html or any other computer language. You can easily enter information into your blog by using the equivalent of a word processor. If you can use a word processor, a blog might be perfect for you.

You can easily find a free blog by doing a simple search. Choose one and register, it is that easy. As you register, you will need to choose a name for your blog. You should select a name that describes the content of your blog. For instance, if you are interested in dogs, you might name your blog ‘Dogs Galore.’ By giving your blog a good descriptive name, you will get more attention from search engine traffic.

After you have added several articles and information pieces, place advertisements on your blog. Adsense is a great way to start making money. It is easy to set up and your only job is to cash their checks. It is a great program and it makes you money on autopilot.

Revenue Sharing Sites – How to Make Money Every Day

Many people want to make millions on the Internet. Although it is possible, most people make much, much less. However, there are millions of people who have much more realistic goals. They just want to make a little extra spending money each month. If that’s what you would like to do, you have come to the right place.

If you can write a 250 to 500-word article, you can make money every day, like I do. Using this technique, I make between $20 and $50 each month. I’ll admit, you won’t get rich using this method, but the extra money each and every month is very nice. I do this by submitting short 250 t0 500 word articles to a number of revenue sharing sites.

A revenue sharing site is similar to a traditional article directory site with one major difference. Traditional article directories post advertisements along with the articles that people submit. Every time a visitor clicks on one of those ads, the site makes money. Revenue sharing sites also post ads along with the articles that people submit, but they share the income that they make from their advertising.

If you are going to submit articles anyway, why not submit to sites that are willing to give you some of the money that they earn. I submit articles to both traditional directories and revenue sharing directories. You can submit the same article to many different directories.

The way to maximize the amount of money that you make with revenue sharing sites is to submit articles frequently. The more articles you have on a revenue sharing site, the more money you will make. I try to submit at least one article every day. I have over 60 articles on each of the revenue sharing sites and, as I said, I make at least $20 a month. As far as I know, there is no limit on the maximum number of articles you can submit. So, if you’ve written 20 articles in the past month, why not upload them to a few revenue sharing sites and start making some money.

The only requirement to use the revenue sharing sites is that you need to have an account set up with Adsense. If you register with one of the revenue sharing sites and do not have an Adsense account, most of them have a link that allows you to register for Adsense.

Following is a comprehensive list of the revenue sharing sites. Check them out and you too can start making money every day!

Outsmarting Google Part 1 of 3

As you excitedly added your first Google Adsense code to your website, how many of you thought, “How can I beat the system?” A fair number I bet. But the fact of the matter is, you can’t.

With Google’s massive computing power and the best minds in the business, it is practically impossible to beat Google in the long term. Sure, there are those who call their cousin Jill and ask her to click on an ad or two. And some people will try to cheat the system and click on a few ads from their computer at work. This may work over the short term, but Google will discover it and disable your account long before you make any serious money.

If Google detects unusual Adsense clicking activity regarding your account, they will not normally disable your account immediately (although they can). In most cases, your account will initially be flagged. If your account is flagged, it means that Google will keep a close eye on things. Sometimes, they send you a warning letter, informing you that they are looking into suspicious activity. On other occasions, you get nothing. If the suspicious activity continues, your account will be terminated and banned from using the Adsense program in the future.

Google uses a number of techniques to determine suspicious activity and invalid clicks. Following, is a list of just some of those methods:

1) Your computer’s IP address is similar to the street address where you live. It uniquely identifies a computer or other network device that is connected to the Internet. When you sign up for your Adsense account, Google logs the IP address of your computer. During the course of business, Google collects the IP address from each ad as it is clicked on your site. If the IP address matches the one from your initial Adsense sign-up, your account is flagged.

2) I can hear many of you thinking now, “Ah-ha! If I disconnect my computer from the Internet and re-connect it, I’ll get a new IP address.” Forget it, it won’t work. Google places cookies on your computer. These cookies can be traced to determine whether ad clicks originated from the same computer as your initial sign-up.

3) Google has done extensive research regarding the average number of ads clicked versus the total number of visitors on a site. This is called the Click Through Rate. If 100 people visit your site and six of them click on Adsense ads, your Click Through Rate is 6%. The normal click through rate varies between .5% and 10%. If your Click Through rate exceeds 10%, or whatever percentage Google is using today, they will flag your account.

This information was obtained at http://smilemaker.uk.to/google-adsense/adsense-essentials/page2.html . This is an excellent site for facts relating to Google’s Adsense program.

The Google Adsense program is a good advertising medium that can very nicely increase the income your site generates. It is in your best interests to play by the rules. The few extra dollars that you might make by cheating the system is not worth the legitimate income that you stand to lose over the long term. Please keep in mind that the information above is subject to change at any time by Google.
