Top 3 Techniques to Double or Triple Your Affiliate Profits Overnight

Affiliate marketing provides you with the best of all worlds. You do not need your won website, you don’t have to deal with cranky customers, refunds, product development or website maintenance. It’s one of the easiest ways of launching an online business and earning big profits.

Assuming you already participate in a few affiliate programs, how do you increase your affiliate commissions? Following are the top 3 techniques to double, or even triple your affiliate profits overnight:

1. Know which programs and products to promote. Obviously, you want to promote products that will enable you to achieve the greatest profits in the shortest possible time.

There are several factors involved in selecting such a program. First of all, make sure you choose products that provide a generous commission structure. Commissions usually range between 20% and 75%. Look for products selling paying at least 50%. Also, make sure your products that fit in with your target audience.

Develop free viral reports or short viral ebooks to distribute from your site. In all likelihood, you are competing with other affiliates that are promoting the same program. By writing short reports related to the product you are promoting, you increase your credibility and will stand above other affiliates. Make sure you provide some valuable information in your reports. And, if possible, include some subtle recommendations about the product.

2. Collect and save the email addresses of those who download your free ebooks. Research clearly shows that most people will not make a purchase on the first solicitation. You may have to send out your message 5 to 7 times in order to make a sale.

In order to do this effectively, you need a good autoresponder. A quality autoresponder will make it easy to follow-up on your contacts to remind them about that fabulous product.

Be sure to get your prospect’s contact information before sending them to the vendor’s website. If you send prospects directly to the vendor, you’ve lost that prospect forever and will never have another opportunity to contact him. By getting his contact information first, you can contact him again and again regarding this and other products.

Publish an online newsletter or send regular mailings to your subscribers. You will triple your success rate by recommending products to those you know as opposed to selling to strangers. This is the purpose behind these regular mailings. It allows you to develop a relationship based on trust with your subscribers.

Using this strategy, it is a delicate balance between providing useful information and making a sales pitch. By providing useful information to your subscribers, you build a sense of comfort in your readers that may lead them to support you by buying your products.

3. Ask merchants for higher than normal commission for products that you are successfully selling. Contact the merchant and try to negotiate a higher percentage commission for your sales. If the merchant is smart, he or she will likely grant your request rather than lose you as a valuable affiliate. Don’t be shy about requesting additional commissions, what is the worst that can happen? Just make sure your request is reasonable.

Use Pay Per Click ads. PPC search engine traffic is the most effective means of advertising online. As an affiliate, you can make a small income just by managing PPC campaigns such as Google AdWords and others. Make sure you monitor them to determine which ads are most effective and which ones you should eliminate.

So get busy, put these techniques to work and double, or even triple your affiliate profits overnight. Do you want to learn how generate massive affiliate profits? Get all the details in my newest ebook.

AdWord Profit Secrets

Google Adwords is a great advertising program that can generate fantastic profits for your online business. In fact, some businesses rely exclusively on AdWords to bring traffic (and profits) to their site.

But all is not perfect with Google AdWords. Have you ever been slapped by Google and had the cost on your perfect keyword pegged at $5.00 or even $10.00 for a single click? That’s a real slap in the face. Google does this when they determine that your ad/keyword is not relevant. In most cases, this situation results from your keyword not appearing on the page you are linking to.

There is an easy fix for this situation if you are linking the ad to your own site. Carefully look at your ad and the keyword you are targeting and use it on your web page. Make sure you enter it in the meta tags, if possible. Ideally, you should use this keyword in your title, description, and keyword meta tags. Then make sure you use it several times in the content on the page. One caution using this technique; don’t just throw the keyword in there haphazardly. You have to make sure that it fits in with your content and is relevant.

There is an easy technique I use to make sure all of my keywords are relevant. When developing an AdWords campaign, I click on the option to allow Google to select keywords based on the site I am targeting. After entering the URL, Google will bring up a list of relevant keywords for that site. If you stick with keywords from this list, you will never have to worry about getting slapped and being charged 5 or 10 bucks for a single keyword.

However, if you had your heart set on using a keyword that is not in the list, refer to the easy fix above and you should have no problem. Do you want to learn how to make money?

How To Start Your First Adwords Campaign Without Spending A Fortune

Many people are afraid to use begin using Adwords. They’ve heard of the stories where someone starts out and gets billed for thousands of dollars. Although this has happened, it is not a frequent occurrence and it is something that is easily prevented by entering a low maximum cost per day.

Start out by getting an Adwords account at Adwords dot Google dot com. After opening your account, use their free keyword research tool to find attractive keywords. I find it easiest to use their site based keyword generation tool. This option allows you to enter the URL of your website and Google will choose the most relevant keywords based on your site’s content.

After getting your list of keywords, enter a low dollar amount and your keyword list will be re-populated with the cost per click for each keyword. This allows you to calculate what your total costs would be. If this is your first campaign, look for keywords that:

1. Are within your budget and make sense financially.
If you are using Adwords to develop your mailing list, pay careful attention to the math. If your squeeze page is converting sign-ups at the rate of 30% and you send 100 people there, you can expect to add 30 people to your list. If you are paying ten cents per click, then your cost per subscriber is thirty-three cents. If you can buy subscribers from another source for twenty-five cents each, it would not make sense to use Adwords for this campaign. Always keep an eye on your numbers.

2. Have the lowest possible "Advertiser Competition" rating.
Higher competition means higher cost.

3. Have a “Low” to "Average Search Volume" rating.
I usually recommend that people start out by looking for “Low Search Volume” keywords, particularly if this is your first campaign. Although you will not get a ton of clicks using this technique, it is a good way to get your feet wet and get some hands on experience as to how the program works. As you get more comfortable, you can add keywords with higher search volume.

The most important factor when starting your first Adwords campaign is this: Always set a maximum amount that you are willing to pay that is within your budget! Do not assume that because you have chosen low volume keywords, you will automatically get few clicks. So let me repeat – Always set a maximum amount that you are willing to pay that is within your budget! By starting your Adwords campaign using this information, you can learn the process slowly, thoroughly, and inexpensively.

Your First Adwords Campaign

You’ve finished your first product and you have it up for sale. Now the real work starts, driving traffic to your sales page. Many people who are new to Internet marketing would like to try Adwords, but are reluctant to get started.

Adwords does not have to be scary if you start out slow and use your head. To get started, register with Adwords. After you are approved, go to their keyword tool. Once there, check the box that says to use your website to select keywords and enter the URL of your website. This is the easiest way to get started because it allows Google to find the most relevant keywords for your site.

It will generate a list of keywords along with the competition and search volume. Check the box to determine the cost of each keyword listed. Enter the maximum amount that you are willing to spend each day. This is the maximum that you want to spend PER DAY. If you are just starting out, pick an amount that you can easily afford. Do not count on making any sales to make your payments to Google. You must be able to afford to pay your total excluding any sales. This is where some people get into financial trouble.

As you look through the list for the cost of each keyword, choose those that are the least expensive. You won’t get a ton of clicks from these keywords, but you just want to get your feet wet and try it out. After you become a little more comfortable with the program, you can experiment with other, more active keywords.

To develop your ad, look at ads for similar products. Of course, you can’t copy them word for word, but you can use a similar style for your ad. Try to come up with three or four different versions for your ad. Then go back and enter the ad you want to use with your first Adwords campaign.

One final word of advice, before clicking the submit button to finalize your campaign, make sure to review ALL of the details. Ensure that you have correctly entered a maximum cost per day that is within your budget. Make sure that your keywords are reasonably priced and are the ones that you intended to use. Double check your ad to ensure there are no errors or misspellings. And, most importantly, triple check the URL to make sure that it directs people to the correct website, you don’t want an ad that you are paying for, directing people to someone else’s site.

What NOT To Do Using Pay Per Click Campaigns

I see a lot of experts recommending that new online entrepreneurs use pay-per-click programs as a traffic building source to generate profits for their new online businesses. Unfortunately, what they fail to mention is the potential costs involved. Many new online business owners underestimate the potential traffic if they are new to pay-per-click programs and wind up paying much more money than they had planned on. This is particularly true if they are unfamiliar with PPC.

Others who are new to the program choose a very general search term in order to maximize the number of clicks. They mistakenly think that more clicks will automatically mean more money. Unfortunately, this is not true. In order to make money using PPC programs, you need TARGETED clicks. You have to use a very narrow focus to concentrate on people who are likely to need the products that you are offering.

If you focus on the word “ebooks” in your campaign, you will get tons of clicks from people who are looking for free ebooks, but you probably won’t get many buyers for your “ebook maker” product. This campaign will be doomed to failure. But unfortunately, many new entrepreneurs hear about the PPC hype and jump right in without doing the necessary research.

So, if you are new to the Internet marketing business. Do your research before committing yourself to any type of program. Make sure that you can afford the ‘worst case scenario.’ If you are using PPC programs, narrow your focus. Be aware that a higher number of clicks does not necessarily mean a higher amount of profit, but it WILL mean a higher cost. And sometimes it means a much higher cost. So do your research. Your online business doesn’t have to begin making profits in 2 minutes; it’s okay if it takes a little longer.
